blog entry 7: Reflection and Evaluation
First , I want to say thank you so much because this class is totally different for me . I did not improve in internet only but also in writing skills. You let me organize my essays and my thoughts.all I need is to be sure of my self that I can do it and use a lot of new vocabulary in my essays. The only challenges I am facing, the internet . sometimes I want to follow up with class but I cant . I need to work alot on the internet but I cant because I dont have enough time or maybe Because I am old , I dont know.I think I did very good in the CAT exam. The essay I had was How to use new methods in good studing.I organized very well. I started with the main idea , followed by the claim .The next paragraph was the summery of the whole passage , then I talked about my personal experiences and by the end I put the conclusion.

Hi Neveen:
ReplyDeleteBelow you will find my response for this blog series. This is not a grade, nor is it intended to be read as an evaluation of your performance in this class so far. The evaluation of the blog series may be found in Blackboard in the gradebook for this class and the grade is derived from a totally dofferent method as described in the syllabus. What you will see below is a response to your overall writing as of this blog series. The categories are from the CAT-W evaluation rubric (what the evaluator’s use). The comments below are intended to be both descriptive (what I see) and prescriptive (what you need to work on). I will be speaking with you personally about your current strengths and weakness during class. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like about the following in class, during office hours, or in our FB groups.
Critical Response to Writing Task and Text: Very good work in this area. You are thinking about the texts and engaging with them. You seem to really latch on to the Socrates. Nice!
Development of Writer’s Ideas: Good development throughout. Good use of life experiences.
Structure of the Response: We'll be working on structure over the next few weeks.
Sentences, Word Choice, Grammar, Usage, Mechanics: Some minor problems (word choice and run-ons are noticeable). But serviceable overall.
Good! Now keep up the hard work!
